We were sad to say goodbye to Edoardo our Italian intern who moved to join Neilsons Holiday Company at Brighton Marina BUT delighted to say hello to Walter like Edoardo is an intern who hails from Italy. Walter will be with us for 13 weeks. Harsha has popped off to the States for 3 weeks. We expect to welcome back Freddie from Brighton University.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Drop by with all your unwanted "stuff" and your recycling. Hang out with us for a while and find out more about the centre. You can sit in our beautiful community garden and enjoy a nice cup of tea or check out our excellent 2nd hand market which is full of fantastic bargains.
Saturday June 22nd - Volunteer Saturday
You are invited to join Team GC to help prepare the garden for the Brighton & Hove in Bloom competition. We also have our regular Rag N' Bone round. We begin at 10.30am, break for lunch at 1pm and finish the day at 4.30pm. If you can't commit to a full day then please drop by for an hour. If you volunteer the whole day we will provide lunch otherwise we provide refreshments.
Thursday June 27th - Green Centre Give Away
On the 4th Thursday of every month we reduce all items in the shop by 50% and we invite you to rummage through our FAMOUS 10p boxes full of bargains & mysterious curiosities! Currently our record single purchase is 70 items.
